MAINS POWER SUPPLIES

BUILD-UP POWER SUPPLY

·      Any build-up power supply used is exclusively for stand construction purpose during the build-up and breakdown period only.

·      This can be ordered separately; only if it is required by the exhibitor and/or stand-builder (contractor). However, for Show power connection from 30 Amps Single Phase and above, a 15 Amps Single Phase build-up power will be included.

·      Build-up power will only be provided when payment is received.

·      It is prohibited to share the build-up power supply with other exhibitors and/or stand contractors. Otherwise a surcharge will be imposed based on the current rate during said service is used.

·      Build-up power cannot be used for stand power tests nor for equipment/ machinery tests. A 30% will be charged based on the prevailing rate of the stand’s show power as testing fee or early energizing fee for exhibitors/ contractors who wish to turn on show power order during the build-up days.

·      Unauthorised use of a build-up power without placing an order will automatically be charged to the exhibitor/ contractor.

Guidelines

a.     The distribution boards for build-up power will be in each of the 4 corners of the halls.

b.     Each hall will have four distribution boards.

c.      The contractor will connect their own equipment and cables to the distribution board.

d.     Each distribution board will consist of single phase & three phase female commando or CEE Form sockets and 13 Amps plug tops.

e.      For each order the contractor will be issued with a numbered socket.

f.      All extension cables should be protected by a 13 Amps fuse.

g.     For orders of more than 15 Amps single phase, the contractor needs to supply their own male CEE form socket.

h.     There will be no other power source during build up, only the build- up power distribution boards will be live.

i.       During the show days the build-up power distribution boards will be turned off.

SHOW POWER SUPPLY

·      Exhibitors / Contractors are required to order mains power supply for the show days.

·      Show power supply will be activated and energised on the last day of the build-up, a day prior to the show,  with the approval of the venue’s electrical team and, in accordance with the health and safety rules and regulations.

·      An Energising Form must be completed and signed at our GES Helpdesk onsite during build-up to activate the stand power.

·      Mains power supply must be switched off every day at the end of every show, unless otherwise a 24-HR continuous power has been ordered. In the case the power has not been switched off, a surcharge of 30% based on the overall power consumption ordered will be imposed.

·      If mains power is required during the build-up for testing, a surcharge of 30% based on the show power supply ordered shall be applied.

·      Mains power supply does not come with a Distribution Board; it should be provided by the Exhibitor/Contractor or ordered through GES. Moreover, electrical installations are not covered by GES.

·      ELECTRICAL ORDER WILL NOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THE COMPLETED GRID PLAN.

Guidelines

a.     The rates quoted include consumption during show days. 

b.     Exhibition stands mains power will only be activated on the last day of build-up only after the energizing form has been completed. Energising forms will only be available onsite at our helpdesk.

c.      Stand contractors are required to be present to activate their mains power 1 hour before and 1 hour after the show opening times.

COMPRESSED AIR

a.     Air compressors are not permitted in the exhibition halls and a hose will be provided from outside.

b.     Filters must be supplied by the exhibitor if 100% clean dry air is required.  The supplied air is approximately 4% humidity and 100ppm oil content. 

c.      The exhibitor must drain off the water each day as the supplied compressor is without a dryer.

d.     It is the responsibility of the stand contractor to connect the hose to the exhibit.

·      Shell Scheme stand rental charges includes exhibition grade carpet with plastic cover, installation and removal during breakdown.

·      Carpet colour is agreed and chosen by the Organiser.

·      If you wish to change a different colour and quality type carpet, it should be ordered separately through this order form at an addition cost.

·      Rates include supply and fit of carpet and protective polythene.

·      Rates include plastic cover, installation and removal during breakdown.

·      GES is not responsible in any case where the exhibition floor and / or raised platform is not level.

·      GES does not hold any liabilities for any damages (teared out or stained carpet) incurred after the installation of the carpet.

·      In case of stand relocations, please advise GES immediately and provide an updated floorplan indicating new stand location.

·      GES will do all possible to accommodate all orders, but at our sole discretion, reserve the right to substitute items that may be unavailable to those of a similar specification, quality and performance.

·      Platform orders do not include any carpet. However, for shell scheme stands, the standard carpet colour will be included. Skirting will be spray paint finish.

·      Space only stands do not include any carpet.

·      All furniture items are on a rental basis

·      Please note that it is prohibited to affix nails, hooks, tacks, screws, adhesives, paint or similar items to any part of the hired furniture.

·      Items included on the shell scheme package may not be swapped or exchanged.

·      Orders are subject to availability; GES will do all possible to accommodate all orders, but at our sole discretion, reserve the right to substitute items that may be unavailable to those of a similar specification, quality and performance.

·      All dimensions are provided in millimetres and are approximate only.

·      It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to keep hire items in good condition during the continuance of hire. In the event of any item being damaged or lost through any cause whatsoever, the hirer agrees to pay GES the full value of such items in addition to the original hire charge.

Shell scheme stand can be enhanced with a range of optional features to create the perfect environment for displaying your products or services. Please note that it is prohibited to affix nails, hooks, tacks, screws, adhesives, paint or similar items to any other part of the shell scheme stands. All LCD and LED screens will accept only MP4 file format. Upon placing the order, please advise if HDMI Cable is required. A Reinforced panel is required for TVs to be mounted on the wall. This will serve as an additional wall support for the weight of the TV. The quantity of reinforced panel required will vary depending on the size of the TV and/or the location of the TV to be installed. For TV wall mounted, please provide layout or grid plan stating the exact height from the floor and distance from the side wall. Remote controls can be collected at the GES Service Desk onsite during the last day of the build-up.
